We are inviting everyone who lives and works in the North Side to this meeting, where we will explain the details of the Ohio River Tunnel project and the locations for planned construction in your neighborhood. As a member of this neighborhood, we would like to hear from you!

As our region moves forward to make our rivers cleaner and healthier, City of Pittsburgh communities will be a large part of the ALCOSAN Clean Water Plan.

Our new regional tunnel system, mandated by the federal government, will directly impact those who live, work and play along our rivers, specifically through:

• Improved river recreation and community life;
• Fewer problems from overflows;
• Short-term construction impacts such as truck traffic and road closures;
• Acquisition of key properties to build the near surface components required for the project.
