The Information Technology division has the responsibility of overseeing a secure computing environment. Formerly a part of the Finance division, the Information Technology division was created in September 2022 to focus on ALCOSAN’s communication networks, safeguarding data and information systems.
The Information Technology division handles technology used within ALCOSAN’s 59-acre campus with the addition of a few auxiliary buildings outside the plant. Some of this technology connects ALCOSAN to the 83 municipal customers which we service. Information Technology strives to aid in the integration of new technology into ALCOSAN business. ALCOSAN’s Information Technology division is committed to following best practices like NIST Cybersecurity governance for securing the ALCOSAN computing environment.
