The ALCOSAN wastewater treatment plant is a 59-acre facility on Pittsburgh’s North Side at 3300 Preble Avenue.

 

Tour Our Facility


The best way to learn how the treatment plant operates and why it is important is by watching the process in action.  Tours are available for school groups and adult groups.

Availability

Free adult group tours are available by appointment from March through October, weather permitting, between 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. All tours must be arranged in advance.
