Your Role in Building the Future Starts Here

Please join us on August 27 at 6 p.m. for our in-person Act 537 Plan Special Study Public Meeting at the North Fayette Community Center, 580 Donaldson Road, Oakdale, PA 15071, where we will discuss the proposed Oakdale Pump Station Project, a key initiative in ALCOSAN’s Regionalization Program.

This meeting is part of a required Act 537 Plan, in accordance with the Pennsylvania Sewage Facilities Act of 1966, which mandates proper wastewater planning by municipalities. This Act 537 Plan is one of the first steps in implementing critical infrastructure improvements through the Regionalization Program.

These upgrades support ALCOSAN’s broader Clean Water Plan to improve system performance and address issues related to overflows and aging infrastructure.

The meeting will include a presentation on the proposed project and provide an opportunity for public input and comments on the Special Study. The project includes:

Installation of approximately 6,300 linear feet of upsized sewers

Construction of a new 7.5 million-gallon-per-day pump station

A 1.3 million-gallon equalization tank to manage flows during wet weather

Public comments can be provided during the meeting or by emailing public.relations@alcosan.org or calling 412-734-8372.

A recording of the meeting will be available after the event at alcosan.org and YouTube.
