Description : This contract is for the replacement of the existing Melanchton Ejector Station with a conventional wet well pump station at the same location of Melanchton and Blair Streets. The work will include the demolition of the existing ejector station, installation of a new wet well, pumping equipment, meter vault and control panel enclosure.

Sealed Bids for Contract No. 1746– Melancton Pump Station Replacement shall be received at the Engineering Department office of the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority, 3300 Preble Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA, 15233, until 11:00 A.M., Prevailing Time, Thursday, April 26, 2024, and then shall be Publicly Opened and read via Microsoft Virtual Teams Meeting.

SEALED BIDS are No longer be accepted at the Guard House – All SEALED BIDS MUST arrive before 10:50 AM whether by currier or in person.  

YOU MUST email Contract Clerks Contract.Clerks@alcosan.org  PRIOR TO DROPPING OFF your SEALED BID on BID OPENING DAY or Before.  SEALED BIDS are ACCEPTED in the CLERKS OFFICE located on the 2^nd Floor of the O&M Building. 

Please keep in mind If you are dropping off a Sealed Bid; you MUST notify us no later than 1 hour before the approximate time of arrival in order for Security to Clear you through the Gate.  

NOTE: If you are dropping off anywhere from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM Bid Opening Day, someone should already be on the 1^st floor of the O&M Bldg. inRoom 119. to take your Bid.
