March 20, 2020 – The Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (ALCOSAN) today announced that in an abundance of caution for the safety of our customers, employees, consultants, and board members, and following the latest guidelines from the Allegheny County Health Department to avoid settings with a group of people, the Authority’s Board of Directors meetings will be closed to the public until further notice.
While the meetings will still take place as scheduled, ALCOSAN will broadcast the meetings on ALCOSAN.org, while also providing an on-site, closed-circuit feed for any public comment. If you are interested in making a public statement, please send an email request to public.relations@alcosan.org no later than Noon on Thursday, March 26.
Also, ALCOSAN has suspended any in-person customer service or payments until further notice. If you have customer service or billing questions, please call 412-766-6696.
