The contract is to furnish and install aeration tank diffuser equipment.  It will generally include the following items: 

• Demolition of existing air manifolds, air distribution piping, and ceramic disc diffusers at the base of each of the eight aeration tanks.
• Supply and installation of air manifolds and air distribution piping as well as membrane disc diffusers.
• Supply and installation of miscellaneous appurtenances, including purge assemblies to purge condensation buildup in the air delivery system
• Each aeration tank has four passes, and each pass has three droplegs that deliver the air to the diffuser grids at the base of the aeration tanks.The scope of this replacement will begin where the droplegs transition from stainless steel to PVC approximately 10 feet below the water surface.
