Environmental education plays a critical role in the protection of our natural resources, both now and in the future.   ALCOSAN welcomes every opportunity to promote the value of environmental stewardship, not only to our customers, but also to students, educators, community groups and other intersted parties within our service area.  Through our Scholastic Outreach Program and through annual initiatives such as Open House and the Summer Science Program, ALCOSAN has attempted to instill an awareness of how the process of wastewater treatment affects the environment and how the simple actions of individuals can positively or negatively impact that process.
