2013 Spring Educators Workshop

 ALCOSAN, in partnership with the National Aviary, is hosting a FREE Professional Educator's Workshop on Saturday, March 23, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Participants will:

• Learn how birds can be an indicator species for environmental change and what actions can be taken to nurture our environment

• Explore the National Aviary’s Wetland exhibit and learn about the birds that live there

• Meet and interact with birds that are ambassadors of their species

Registration is required and registrants must live or work in the ALCOSAN service area to attend.  Participants may submit the hours to their district to receive ACT 48 hours. A certificate of attendance and lunch will be provided.
