ALCOSAN currently employs 300 people. Approximately
sixty of these employees are salaried including Directors, Managers,
First Line Supervisors and some professionals such as Engineers. The
Security Department consists of about seven guards who are members of
the General Teamsters, Chauffeurs & Helpers Local 249. The rest
of ALCOSAN's workforce (about 230 employees) are members of the Utility

in plant operations and maintenance. They also perform office and clerical

Department personnel (about 60 senior employees) and Security work a
rotating shift schedule.
