ALCOSAN contracts with a value of $10,000 and up are
advertised in the legal ads. The Authority's Board of Directors awards
contracts to the lowest bidder who meets the contract specifications
at the monthly public meeting. To have your company's name placed on
a bid list for construction contracts, send a writen request to the
attention of the Engineering & Construction Department at ALCOSAN. When
writing, please state the nature of your business. The Engineering and
Construction Department keeps a list of interested parties for a minimum
of five years. You will be notified automatically of contracts if your
business is eligible.
No, ALCOSAN is not a county agency.

Yes, ALCOSAN has an MBE/WBE/DBE policy in place. The
Authority's goal is to award 10-25 percent annually of all contract
dollars to minority or women-owned and minority business enterprises.
