Sylvia C. Wilson is Assistant to the President of the Pittsburgh Federation of Teachers (PFT), and she has been Secretary of the Executive Board since 1979. Ms. Wilson represents the PFT as a delegate at American Federation of Teachers' (AFT) and Pennsylvania Federation of Teachers' (PaFT) Conventions. Her previous work experience entails teaching elementary school throughout the Pittsburgh Public School System for twenty-six years. For over twenty years, she was an active volunteer with community youth baseball and football organizations. Ms. Wilson serves on the ALCOSAN Board as the joint city-county appointee.
