Harry
A. Readshaw has represented the 36th legislative district
of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives since 1995.
Mr. Readshaw, married with three children and 5 grandchildren,
is a life-long resident of the City of Pittsburgh and
third-generation owner-operator of Readshaw Funeral
Home founded in 1912. He is now serving in his third
term with the House of Representatives and presently
sits on the Professional Licensure Committee (Democratic
Secretary), Consumer Affairs Committee (sub-committee
on telecommunications) and Game and Fish Committee.
Mr. Readshaw is a county appointee and serves as Chairman
of the ALCOSAN Board. He is the Secretary-Treasurer
of the Allegheny County Redevelopment Authority. Mr.
Readshaw's efforts created the committee to restore
and repair the Pennsylvania Monuments at Gettysburg
Commission. He has just completed raising the necessary
money to restore and repair the 146 Pennsylvania Monuments
at the Gettysburg Battlefield.
