Harry A. Readshaw has represented the 36th legislative district of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives since 1995 and is currently serving in his third term.  In his legislative role, Mr. Readshaw sits on the Professional Licensure Committee (Democratic Secretary), Consumer Affairs Committee (sub-committee on telecommunications) and Game and Fish Committee. Mr. Readshaw is Secretary of the ALCOSAN Board, having previously served as Chairman for 14 years, and is Secretary-Treasurer of the Allegheny County Redevelopment Authority.  Mr. Readshaw's efforts created the committee to restore and repair the Pennsylvania Monuments at Gettysburg Commission. Through his efforts, Mr. Readshaw recently completed the raising of funds to restore and repair all 146 Pennsylvania Monuments at the Gettysburg Battlefield. Mr. Readshaw, married with three children and 3 grandchildren, is a life-long resident of the City of Pittsburgh and third-generation owner-operator of Readshaw Funeral Home.
