Department Overview

ALCOSAN consists of the following five divisions:

Engineering and Construction - provides ALCOSAN with engineering services and technical support to successfully administer the Capital Improvement Programs, and assist in the operation and maintenance of the plant and interceptor system.

Environmental Compliance - ensures that the Authority complies with environmental laws. It is the Authority's primary point of contact with environmental regulatory agencies for routine issues, permit applications and reporting.

Finance and Administration - implements and maintains sound fiscal policies, competent customer service and safeguards Authority assets including personnel, funds and the physical plant.

Operations and Maintenance - ensures continuous, cost-effective operation and maintenance of all treatment plant equipment and facilities in order to meet permit requirements and environmental standards.

Regional Coveyance - ensures continuous, cost-effective operation and maintenance of all collection and conveyance equipment and facilities in order to meet permit requirements and environmental standards.
