General Employment Policies
When vacancies occur, applications are screened and applicants are selected to be interviewed based on factors such as apparent qualifications and stable work history. Testing is required for all entry level positions. A suitable number of applicants will be selected for testing based on the results of the interview. Those applicants who pass the test battery will be requested to provide detailed information so that ALCOSAN can verify work history, education and criminal record prior to employment. If more applicants pass the test than are required to fill the current vacancies the applicants who are not initially selected will be given first consideration for future vacancies.
